Day 01: Arrival in Sri Lanka – Colombo

Upon your arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly received by one of our representative and you will be transferred to Colombo. All famous for its shopping arcades in and around the city, which allows one to have a tantalizing experience in Colombo as it has something to offer for every visitor. In the afternoon take a round of golf in the Royal Golf Club, surrounded by residential areas and business establishments. Playing golf in the Royal Golf Club is a sanctuary situated in the heart of Colombo. In contrast to its surroundings, it is an exquisite ad tranquil environment to relax, unwind and tee off.

Day 02: Colombo / Kalpitiya (Wilpatthu National Park)

Today, drive to Kalpitiya, which is one of the most beautiful coastal areas located in the Western Province of Sri Lanka. Kalpitiya is a peninsular that separates the Puttalam lagoon from the Indian Ocean and is a marine sanctuary with a diversity of habitats ranging from bar reefs, flat coastal plains, saltpans, mangroves swamps, salt marshes and vast sand dune beaches. Proceed to Wilpattu National Park, the second largest park after Yala for leopards, sloath bears, spotted der, wild pigs and crocodiles. A safari in Wilpattu is very different from any of the other major national parks.

Day 03: Kalpitiya / Sigiriya

After an early breakfast, proceed for a Dolphin tour. This will be few minutes away from the shores of Kalpitiya, hundreds and hundreds of dolphins can be spotted from November to April. The spinner dolphins regarded as the exhibitionists of all dolphins show off their beautiful routine of somersaults and spin which is fascinating. Then drive to Habarana, to experience the elephant back rides around the tank. In the creek near town you can watch mahouts scrubbing down their elephants; guides and most locals can point the way.

Day 04: Sigiriya / Dambulla / Kandy

Proceed to Sigiriya after an early breakfast. Sigiriya is considered as one of the World Heritage and a mountain of remembrance. Also, this is where you can experience present day rural villages where life remains unhurried and people lead a balanced existence. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to observe the bathing elephants from the tall river bank as it’s a beautiful scenery to watch.

Then proceed to Kandy, the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. Traditions and culture remain undisturbed by European influence in the colonial era. The Royal Palace, now known as the “The Temple of the Tooth Relic’’ (of Lord Buddha), situated right beside the Kandy lake gives a magical beauty to the city. Kandy is also home to one of the largest botanical gardens in South East Asia.

Day 05: Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

Today, take a round of Golf, in The Victoria Golf course in Kandy is located on a 207 hectare site with 8km waterfront and overlooks the panoramic Victoria Reservoir. Some golf courses have the scenic backdrop of hills and lakes which excite the senses, and however the Victoria Golf Course near Kandy is blessed with both attributes. Proceed to Peradeniya train station to experience a train ride up to Nanu Oya and then proceed by road to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England” for its scenic beauty. Visit a tea factory to taste a sample of Sri Lankan tea. You can also spend your time in leisure walking around the city.

Day 06: Nuwara Eliya / Tangalle

After an early breakfast take a round of Golf in the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, founded in 1889, which is one of the oldest golf clubs in Asia and probably the world and is enriched with a tradition and an ambience which is hard to equal. The Club is situated at the foot of Mount Piduruthalagala (Mount Pedro) and is surrounded by some of the finest tea gardens in Sri Lanka. Afternoon make yourself get away to the Sothern Beach in the island. Tangalle, is another emerald beach paradise of Sri Lanka. Tangalle is known as the tranquility, deserted beaches and has the unique eco system. One side of Tangalle bears a small hillock, with a bird’s eye view of the surrounding bay up to the far horizon of the beach and the shimmering sea. Tangalle boasts of clear soft sandy beach and surfing.

Day 07: Tangalle
